This is very important and I ask that you read this. A member of my family has been fighting with cancer, and just now my stepdad has written a journal about it. Please read and, even if you're not religious, I beg of you to keep my aunt in your prayers, thoughts, wish her luck or whatever. Here is what was written in my stepdad's journal:

"I tend to be a somewhat private person, but I have a request for those of you who read this. If you believe in this sort of thing, I am asking that you say a prayer for my younger sister Michelle (I call her Micky). Sometime ago she was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer. She had been doing well until earlier this year when it was found that the cancer had spread to several parts of her body. While she is doing ok now, the cancer is still growing. There is still hope and she still has many treatment options left to her. But the sad fact is that this form of cancer is fatal to 95% of those who contract it. She has 3 children (2 who are only 5 and 9), and a husband who has been very supportive, but I know it is tough on all of them.
I don't make this request lightly. I believe that God answers every prayer, but I also know that sometimes the answer is no. But I do know that miracles happen everyday, and if you would please, ask for her to be helped."
