KAR'S AMAZING!! He's my favorite character from the whole book! When Kar's a pup, he's a lot like my OC Tai (the one that still has NO CHARACTER INFO YET!.. and for that I apologize ^^; )
but yeah..
I misread something when I read the part where Kar is first introduced, and I ended up reading the ENTIRE THING thinking that Kar was a rusty brown color.. It wasn't until the end that I found out he was gray!!! *shamed*
SPOILER
It figures that my favorite character would be presumed DEAD and then end up being alive, but then goes INSANE! (which is why he talks to bats) But then again, that normally happens to my favorite characters ^^;
